This Privacy Policy describes how Timo LLC ("Timo LLC," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or use our website, complete a form, request or book a call, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise communicate with us (together, the "Services"). "You" and "your" means you, the person using the Services. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, request a call, subscribe, or contact us, we collect the information you provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and your profession or business, along with anything else you choose to share with us.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Services, we and our partners may automatically collect certain information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, the pages and links you interact with, referring and exit pages, and general usage data.
Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta) and from the email and scheduling platforms we use to operate the Services.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Services, respond to your inquiries, and schedule and conduct calls.
- To send you our newsletter, updates, offers, and information about our programs. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
- To contact you by email, phone, or text about your request and our offerings, consistent with your consent.
- To measure, operate, and improve our advertising and to understand how visitors use the Services.
- To maintain the security of the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as our email and newsletter platform (Substack), data storage and productivity tools (Google), advertising and measurement partners (Meta), and scheduling tools. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Timo LLC, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to operate the Services, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. You can usually control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Services may not work properly without them.
5. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites and platforms that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
6. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications and certain advertising. Residents of Texas, California, and other states may have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message. You can opt out of calls or texts by telling us to stop.
- Advertising. You can manage ad preferences through your device and through the settings of platforms such as Meta.
- Requests. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Texas Privacy Rights (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act)
Timo LLC is based in Texas. If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act ("TDPSA") gives you specific rights over your personal data, and requires us to make the disclosures in this section.
Targeted advertising disclosure. We process personal data for targeted advertising. Specifically, we share online identifiers and activity on this site with advertising platforms, including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram), so that our ads can be shown and measured. Some state laws treat this kind of sharing as a "sale" of personal data even when no money changes hands. You have the right to opt out. See "How to exercise your rights" below.
We do not sell sensitive personal data, and we do not sell biometric data. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a known child.
Categories of personal data we process
- Identifiers and contact data: name, email address, phone number.
- Professional data: your profession, instrument, or business, and anything else you volunteer.
- Internet and device activity: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and similar usage data collected through cookies and pixels.
- Inferences: audience and interest signals derived from the above for advertising and measurement.
We process this data for the purposes listed in Section 2, and we share the categories above with the service providers and advertising partners listed in Section 3. We do not process sensitive data as defined by the TDPSA.
Your rights
- Confirm and access. Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and obtain a copy of it.
- Correct. Correct inaccuracies in your personal data, taking into account its nature and our purpose for processing it.
- Delete. Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.
- Portability. Obtain a copy in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format.
- Opt out. Opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, for sale, or for profiling in furtherance of a decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect.
How to exercise your rights
Email timo@trombonetimollc.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that period once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you before the first period ends. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.
You can also opt out of targeted advertising directly through the platforms themselves, as described in Section 10, and we honor opt-out preference signals sent by your browser, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where we are required to do so.
Right to appeal
If we refuse to act on your request, you may appeal our decision within a reasonable period after you receive our refusal. To appeal, reply to our decision or email timo@trombonetimollc.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond in writing within 60 days of receiving the appeal and explain the reasons for our decision. If we deny your appeal, we will give you a method to contact the Texas Attorney General to submit a complaint. You may contact the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division at texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection.
10. Advertising, Meta Platforms, and the Meta Pixel
We advertise on Meta Platforms, Inc. products, including Facebook and Instagram. This section explains what that means for your data.
- Meta Pixel. This website loads the Meta Pixel, a piece of tracking code that reports your activity on this site back to Meta. It records events such as page views, when you open our sign-up form, and when you submit it. This lets us measure ad performance and show ads to people who have visited this site.
- Custom and Lookalike Audiences. We may provide contact information you give us, such as a hashed version of your email address, to Meta so that it can match you to an account and include you in a Custom Audience, or build a Lookalike Audience of people with similar characteristics.
- Joint responsibility. For some of this processing, Meta acts as an independent or joint controller of your data under its own terms. Meta's handling of your data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy, not by this one.
How to limit advertising tracking
- Adjust your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences, and review the "Off-Facebook Activity" tool in your Meta account settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's tracking protection.
- Use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Email us as described in Section 9 to opt out of processing for targeted advertising.
This site is not part of the Facebook website or Facebook, Inc., and it is not endorsed by Facebook in any way. FACEBOOK is a trademark of FACEBOOK, Inc.
11. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. International Users
We operate from the United States, and your information will be processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after we post changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
